Nicola Black Design, LLC, is a graphic design studio specializing in custom wedding invitation and stationery design. We also offer pre-designed suites which can be semi customized to your needs. Posh, elegant, and perfect for any wedding theme reminiscent of the jazz age, speakeasies, old Hollywood glamour, and fancy parties!
Pictured to the right the suite utilizes the flat print method including pocket folds, 2 info cards (menu and directions), RSVP post card, and main invitation. This suite also comes without the pocket fold for stacked assembly.

Ingrid Suite

Gwendoline Suite
A charming stationery suite that lends itself beautifully to one or two-color letterpress printing (as seen in the examples to the right) as well as all other printing techniques offered. Set the tone with “Gwendoline,” an Edwardian styled suite for your classically elegant day!

Lydia Suite
An Art Deco Suite inspired by a lovely couple, Lydia and James, whose wedding style is of a vintage era with a bit of a bold and modern flair.
Pictured to the right the suite utilizes the flat print method including a A7 invitation, A1 RSVP, A1 save-the-date card, custom return address stamps as well as envelopes in complimentary colors. This suite can be printed using a couple different printing techniques as well as on budget or luxe papers. The paper used in the sample pictures is one of our favorites — Reich Paper’s SAVOY.

Natalie Suite
A modern, romantic, floral suite inspired by a lovely couple, Natalie and Sean. Watercolored flower accents compliment the traditional and elegant layout.
Pictured to the right the suite utilizes a mix of thermography and flat printing. It includes an A7 invitation, RSVP post card, 2 info cards, a navy matte pocket fold, envelopes with modern striped liners for that extra wow, as well as custom sticker seals for the pocket folds and envelopes. This suite can be printed using different printing techniques as well as on budget or luxe papers. Colors can also be customized to reflect your wedding colors.

Rebecca Suite
A fun and modern take for your invitations! Watercolored chevron brings each panel of this tri-fold design together giving your guests a more interactive way to receive information about your big day!
The invitation is delivered to your guests in a beautiful outer envelope, which holds the tri-fold invitation/RSVP as well as a 5 x 7 envelope for their RSVP. All they have to do is fill out and tear off the perforated response card and insert it into the included 5 x 7 response envelope! Convenient and fun! A great way to save on paper/printing costs. This is a budget friendly suite.
Colors are customized to reflect your wedding colors.

BASIC TERMS & CONDITIONS: A 50% deposit is due to begin your order. Once you approve PDF proofs, your remaining balance is due before designs go to print. Once designs are sent for print, there aren’t any refunds. Turnaround time begins after consultation is complete and a 50% non-refundable deposit has been sent to Nicola Black Design, LLC. Credit cards, Paypal and checks are accepted. New Jersey residents are subject to 7% sales tax. During your email consultation, you will receive detailed terms & conditions. Please allow an average of 6-8 weeks for printing and shipping after your PDF proofs have been approved.

Please include the information requested in steps 1-4 above; whether you’d like to go with a Pre-designed stationery suite or a custom design, your printing style, and your chosen colors/impressions.

Date of event
Invitations are usually sent out approximately 2 months before the wedding; and at least 3-6 months prior to a destination wedding. Save-the-dates are usually sent out approximately 4-7 months before the wedding; 6-8 months prior to destination weddings. Pre-designed stationery can take up to 6 weeks for printing and shipping, after client approval, while customized stationery can take a bit longer (4-8 weeks). I recommend ordering pre-designed suites no less than 6-8 weeks before your mailing date and custom designed stationery 9-13 weeks before your mailing date. Custom designed save-the-dates should be ordered 6-9 months before your wedding date. If you have less time available for your invitations to be completed, please contact me for a quote regardless — I can accommodate most schedules if they fit in with my current job queue.
